Hello all,

Anyone in VJ have recent experience working with the embassy in Buenos Aires?

My fiancé is there trying to finish the K1 process. We believe they received the approved K1 packet from NVC around April 24 and are anxiously waiting packet 3 in the mail so he can turn the paperwork in to get an interview date. He had a very frustrating experience trying to contact them. He said calling the embassy he was told they would not accept any in-person questions at the embassy and would not answer any questions over the phone. They said the only way to communicate is through email. Sending emails to them gets an automatic reply basically stating that they are not going to reply to your email or answer your question. So there is no way to communicate? Anyone had any luck?

We are trying to set a wedding date but don't know when the embassy may choose to set his interview date. Timelines here suggest 60-something days, anyone successfully gotten a faster interview??
