Tax Question

2 posts in this topic

Hi all,

I was reading the posts and I thought I would ask the question regarding taxes. We(me and my husband files taxes both years) but we still owe some money to IRS. My husband is paying it periodically.

I will need to remove conditions soon. If I send my tax returns to USCIS soon will there be an issue for my ROC approval? I mean , will they make it as an issue that we completely didn't cover all our payments?

Anyone with the same situation?

I will appreciate all the answers.

Thanks,

Ann

Personally, I doubt it becoming an issue since USCIS is concerned with the filing status (married filing jointly) and the address on the return as a proof of current address.

In addition, even if USCIS asks about it, you and your husband are working on a payment plan with the IRS which means that you are not evading taxes....
