Setting up a K1 visa interview in Nairobi

Hi, everyone! My fiance lives in Kenya. He received his packet after my petition was approved a few weeks ago. He has everything on his checklist completed, including his medical exam, but no where in the packet does it tell him what to do next to actually schedule his K1 visa interview. He's going to try calling the main number and have the operator put him through to the visa department to try to schedule his interview, which I've seen suggested in this forum. Is this the way it normally works? They send him the packet with the checklist and he just calls them when he has everything? He has gone through his packet several times and there is nothing in there to tell him what he needs to do next.

Thanks!

Jody

YOU OR YOUR FIANCE HAS TO CALL THE EMBASSY IN KENYA TO SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW.

Thank you! He was actually staying at a relative's house just a few minutes from the Embassy, so he actually went there in person to schedule the interview as opposed to trying to get through by phone. Now we just sit and wait until May 17 ....

The waiting is the hardest part. :hehe:
