On a side note regarding the Russian post, we just got a package back, marked as undeliverable. We had mailed it out in late October to make sure it got there by Christmas, and her friend said it never arrived. We just wrote it off as one of those things that happens when you use the Russian post. But it actually came back to us yesterday, almost 6 months later, completely intact although very much worse for the wear. No idea why it was marked "undeliverable," the address was correct.

I had that happen in just the opposite way. She sent me a post card and it made it to Anchorage, marked undeliverable and sent back to Russia. I just happened to be in Russia at the time it came back, we were walking out of the apartment building on the way to the airport when she checked her mail and found it. Address to me was perfect.

Gotta love the mail!
