Hi!

Got married Jan 16, 2010 in the US. Went back to Canada Jan 20. Had marriage certificate 2 weeks later. Changed name on Canadian driver's license first - 7 days (need this to change name on Canadian passport) MSP card (with new name) will also do for passport name change but takes longer than the driver's license to change. Husband mailed I130 using my new name first week of Feb, NOA1 issued Feb 16. Change your name beforehand if you're changing it anyway, we think it's easier to get it over with.
