My husband has been living in Canada for the last year, we filed this years taxes for 2009 and I claimed him as a dependant as he is not working here and I am. He had to sign a form declaring that he did not make any money outside of Canada for the year of 2009. Problem is I also just filed my 2008 taxes and because 2009 is was married there is now some sort of problem with Revenue Canada and they are confused about when we even got married ( Sillys ). They are asking for my husbands info and SIN ( which he does not have ). MY husband is American and has no SIN. He is planning to go home soon, what do we do for next year? We are going to be applying for me to go to the Usa but I have no Idea where to go on this? Does anyone know any good Lawyers in Southern Alberta? How do I go about this tax issue..

Thanks
