I was just wondering, since have out first little one on the way.

Due to the father being a US citizen the baby will automatically be a US citizen.

I still have my Dutch citizenship. Would I be able to get a Netherlands passport for the baby as well in the future?

I would be great he/she could have dual citizenship.

Thanks

You can get your child their own passport or have them added to yours. You can look up information in regards to this at the site of the Dutch embassy in the US: http://www.netherlands-embassy.org/article.asp?articleref=AR00000137EN

it sounds like a lot of paperwork.......you might want to call the embassy itself if you have questions.
