I am trying to fill out form I751, the form to remove contingency status on our permanent resident status.

Since immigration, my wife and I have become a foster care family. Presently, we have 4 foster children.

Can I / Should I include these kids on the I751 form, even if we have not adopted them? Does it matter if they are long-term-stay or short-term-stay?

We have already included the foster care license as part of extra-evidence, so maybe it doesn't even matter.

What is the purpose of them asking about "children," anyway?
