Biometrics Appointment

Hello Vj member,

I have a question about my biometrics appointment, it will be on the 31st of this month. Will it be alright to show just my passport? I did applied for a Ssn after marriage but the Social Security office here did not accept my application for the reason that i am already married and no longer a k1 visa holder. I cant apply for a state id for the reason that i dont have Ssn as one of the requirements. Now am a little bit worried cause they might not accept my passport. I heard from others that state id also is important to have for biometrics appointment.

Please if u could give me some infos about this matter. It will be so helpful.

Thank u much...

I only presented my passport although it's still under my maiden name. You may also want to bring your marriage certificate just in case they'll ask for an official paper with your new name. All the best for the rest of your AOS.
