I know this question has been answered probably a thousand times but I was just wondering if someone could tell me what size express port envelope do we need for the interview?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

They're going to use the expresspost envelope to mail you a sealed envelope containing an approximately half inch+ stack of normal letter sized paper documents, in addition to your passport, so the expresspost envelope needs to be fairly large.

It may not be necessary to actually bring the expresspost envelope to the interview. I interviewed at Vancouver last April. There is a post office right across the street, so I didn't bother, figuring I could always run and get one if I was told I needed it. Turned out I didn't - they said I could just pick it up the next day. I think Montreal might not do this, and I don't know if even Vancouver have been doing next-day pickups recently.

DON'T PANIC

I wonder if, with this new software, there would be a way to post a "Top Five FAQ" somewhere. Maybe even a sticky / pinned notice? Hmmm...

As we discovered at the Consulate this morning, it needs to be 12X15 minimum. We had the wrong size - the post office in Fort Erie swore to me that they only had a smaller size, and I should have known better. There is a Pharmacy right down the street from the Consulate that we were able to go to and take back to the consulate.

They could...but very few will read it. Actually what would be good is if they renamed the "Canada immigration Guide" pinned topic, krikit's one. It's misleading, I bet most people think it's about immigrating to Canada.

well i picked up mine. the only one they had 12 x 15 was the priority next day am one. ended up cheaper than the expresspost signature required included in the fee. 24$ all in. regional one quebec to ontario.

FYI for anyone wondering. Canada post themselves are closed for good friday AND easter monday, HOWEVER the clerk told me expresspost / priority envelopes would STILL be delivered on the Monday.
