You can trying using the prt scrn (print screen) function while you are viewing each chat log. anyhow, you won't need much of them. I only printed like 20 of different chat logs, and they were like 50 pages. and the consul who interviewed me never even looked at them. and my interview only lasted 3 mins or something. Photos and letters via snail mail are also good evidence

for my hubby's interview they only requested letters and pics and we showed chat logs and phone bills they didnt look at it.

What program are you using to chat?

Dependant on what chat you use, you want to go into options and check off the box that says "keep chat logs" or something similar. Then when you open these logs (they should be filed away in a word document or .txt document) then you can print them off that way. good luck!

using yahoo messenger..They are in Dat file i can't find way to open them.

I have heard people have success using this program to open Yahoo Messenger DAT files. (Never tried it myself)

I am using Yahoo and it has the date included in the time stamp. I can remove time stamp but not just the date.

If worse comes to worse I would copy text to Word and put date at top of each section.

Hello marcus_arlyn1226,,,, If you are using YM then go to message archive click on what dates you are going to save and print..you can highlight the rest of them then Copy and paste through MICROSOFT WORD/NOTEPAD... or another option is:

1. in your keyboard click ALT and PrtSc SysRq..

2. PAINT --- if you cant locate the word PAINT.. click START.. ALL PROGRAMS.. ACCESSORIES... THEN click PAINT

3. SAVE

4. PRINT

Here is another program that you can test for free if you cant open the DAT file.

It would seem though that you should be open the DAT file if Yahoo Messenger is running on your system.

Thanks a lot of you!!I got the print out with the dates.I just need cause we mostly chat on yahoo(e-mails & chatting) and call.I don't have any records of cellphone and recent photos of having met.I got only a few e-mails and a lot chats archives.I still have packages we sent each other and I believe receipt of engagement ring.I hope what I send in is enough.

I don't know what other documents you are submitting aside from chat logs, but in my case, I didn't include one. I just submitted letters, cards, the USPS forms attached on the gifts he sent (I was very careful removing them off the boxes), hotel receipts (from all 3 visits), the receipt for the engagement ring, a WU receipt covering the cost of the application, and about 20 pictures.

The cellphone records should be in your cellphone bill.
