Hi - Our I485 interview is coming up in a month, but we haven't heard back yet on the EAD. We went in for the biometrics 2 weeks ago. Does anyone know how long it takes for the EAD to be issued? Also, will it come by mail or do we have to go in for a separate interview on that?

Only the USCIS knows. You don't really have to worry about the EAD. After all, you'd have to give it back during your interview. Just go for the green card.

No interview for EAD - it usually takes between 60 and 90 days (from NOA1 to approval/card-issued).
