we sent our i- 485 form to wrong place

my husband sent out my 1-485 form to Nebraska severice center ( which was told wrong office ) 50days ago , but we still didnot get any information from Nebraska sverice center . we have no receipt ,not cashed , nothing . we called many times ,but in the end , there is one woman said that donot worry and our document will be transfered to Chicago office ,but she didnot know when or where , just tell us wait and wait ,,,,. the problem is that i have been here more than 6months now ,my passport will run off the time , my 1-94 has run out of time .

my english is so limited ,i do not know what to do , everytime i want my huband to call , he was so pissed off by me . he just wanted to listen to that woman , no worries . i am wondering that no headline for applying for green card for k 1 visa holder ??? i so worry about it , i even canot sleep well

You guys could make an infopass appointment - to go to your local USCIS office and speak with someone in person. They can often look into things that the regular 'customer service' representatives can not.

oh, i am so gradeful to see your answer immedetely . we made the appointement on the next monday ( April 1) at a city one hour away . i hope it is very helpful to us . thank you very much .and god bless you .

i do not have a receipt number , donot know it is ok or not .
