Does anyone have any recommendations on what courier service I should use to ship to the Philippines?

Like is fedex or DHL safe?

I will be shipping my I-129 and I-134 along with some other sensitive documents which have bank account numbers, car VINS, and my social security number.

NVC sends everything that you previously sent to them (or the USCIS)to the embassy by DHL...for a lot of us that is SSN and banks statements since we send the I-864 to the NVC...I would say that DHL or FedEx would be safe as you can get.....if someone wants to open it, it will get opened no matter who the carrier is.

Anything sent from the US to USCIS is considered to be sent domestic and does not go though normal customs inspection, USCIS uses AIR21 within the Philippines, AIR21 is a sister company to FEDEX Philippines owned by mail & more, besides having confidence in sending to the consulate via private carrier you can always track your package online, usual delivery times from the US to USCIS Manila is about two days give or take a day

ok but my questions is based on the k-1 Guide where at the bottom it says that I have to send my paperwork to my fiance.....so again do I send the paper work to my fiance or to the embassy?

I used DHL both times I sent documents to my Fiancee in the Philippines. Each time she received the packets in 5 days which is exactly what I was told when it would be delivered. No problems at all with DHL.

very cool thanks. I'll keep it in mind for sure.

Sorry to confuse you...yes you still send it to your fiancee....the NVC had your case for a little bit...long enough to assign a case number. Then they send it to the embassy by DHL. The rest of us doing CR1/IR1 send I-864 affidavit of support to the NVC. That in turn gets sent to the embassy by DHL also. So there is a lot of personal info out there getting mailed all around.
