Does it matter which form I fill out for my fiance to mail out with her packet 3? The I-134 looks short and sweet, but I also plan to attach my 2008 & 2009 taxes and a letter from my company…would that be enough for that? I have read the guides, but just looking to see what others did. Also as a safety net, I'm getting my father to fill out the I-134 as a co-sponsor and doing the same: attaching his taxes along with the letter from the company….am I going in the right direction? Any help would be great. Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend!!

I-134 is the correct affadavit of support for the K-1. You'll use the I-864 when it's time to adjust status.

2-3 years of tax transcripts is plenty (with W-2's), current pay stubs and a letter from your employer is what you'll need.

If your income is 125% of current posted poverty guidelines you do not need a co-sponsor, so there really is no such thing as a "safety net". Either you need a co-sponsor or not....

quick question…if i dont have my federal tax transcripts from 2008 but i have the w2's and the state tax transcript, will i be alright?? i have the w2's and both state and federal transcripts for 2009. and should i throw in 2007 as well?

My hubby sent from 2007 to 2009.. It is much better if you have a IRS transcript.. Request for that. it takes 1 week. send most recent 3 years .
