I will be sending to NVC in a few months and I just noticed on my last 3 years of tax returns that 2007 and 2008 has a different suffix to my name than my 2009. for example it shows John Doe Smith Jr on 2007/2008 returns but my 2009 and I-130/G325a i put John Doe Smith II

so im asking can this cause a problem at anytime with my name being different even though its only the suffix?

i did NOT put John Doe Smith Jr in the "other names used" blank on I-130/G325a because if i did then this would not be any concern to me but grrr i didnt. so does anyone have any opinions on this?

Thanks in advance -jer

It won't be a major problem but you will need to state why there's a change with the suffix of your name. It's not a problem. Just be honest about every documents you go about filling out and keep a copy of everything you prepare. Don't worry! It's manner.
