My wife is a petitioner of her mother and we would like to know if her mother can appoint her as her agent. We haven't received anything yet from NVC via emails although we gave them my wife and her mother emails for future updates. However, we have received a letter from NVC about further processing intructions on how to proceeds. We just paid the AOS fee today tru online payment. We were wondering if it's alright to send an email on behalf of my wife's mom about choosing her agent. My wife's mom is in the Philippines right now and should be easy for us to receive future updates here in the USA. Per NVC instructions about choosing an gent, NVC encourage applicants to seek an agent with a U.S. postal address.

Thanks.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

When my wife had to pick choice of agent she chose me.. From what the NVC said its up to the beneficiary to choose... Could be you the petitioner or a lawyer or anyone she chooses. Whoever she chooses, she and that agent of choice will receive all related letters and everything else regarding the pettition/visa application.
