SENT AOS PACKET.. Confused?? Checks NOT cashed!?

hello.

so i sent my packet in on March 4th, With guaranteed 1 day shipping with insurance and had to be signed for.

it was signed for the next day. ( march 5th )

it is now march 11th and the checks havent been cashed because there is no money gone from my bank or anything.

there is no word about anything..

im thinking about calling the services dep.

also when i sent the packet it had everything except ONE thing. the medical, because we are still working on getting that done.

i explained due to the curcumstances of me being in the army that it takes more time to get things done.

is from the 5th to 11th not enough time for them to cash the checks? or anything?

My checks i think got cashed like a week after i sent the papers. Look at my timeline. But it's not unusual. i used money orders so they were instantly cashed but if you used personal check it usually takes 2 days to clear your account, and checks won't clear on weekends. Your good to go!

I second that, nothing happens within the first week. You know your application package has been delivered, so there's nothing to worry about. Just give it a few days.

I sent my package on March 1st and was received in Chicago on Mar. 2nd, my cheques were cashed yesterday Mar. 11th. So just give it a few more days. You'll probably get a RFE for the medical (but not for sure because your in the army)

I mailed out my package for my wife's GC on 02/27 and it got delivered on 03/01.

Check (personal check) was cashed on 03/09, but I have not received letter of recipt yet.

As far as I checked (thanks to all VJ), your situation is nothing to be suprised.

It is a Waiting Game, buddy. Let's wait.

We're all in different circumstances, like my case, I will leaving to my long business trip to oversea, so I need it very bad, but came to the point where I am like " Let it be"....

Anyway we all move toward to same goal !!!
