Wow I really need help re: I-130 approval and have already moved

Ok, I am blown away. I wrote a letter to CSC back in March withdrawing my husband's I-130 as we had decided to have me move to Canada instead. We applied for Canadian Immg. (april) and I just got approval (waiting for return of my passport with COPR)

Since we've arrived serious changes have happened with his job (fired his partner), and that was the real reason I headed this way (plus we were tired of being apart). In the last 2 weeks we have discussed reapplying for him to come to U.S. We were going to called Toronto TODAY to see if I could do DCF even though i've only been here one month.

:o:o:o:o Well I got our mail today, evidently they didn't withdraw our I-130 and we got approved in July. Holy sh*T. No joke, this is totally thrown me for a loop. I have given up my job in the states, my house, etc. and am about to be "landing" as canadian PR (but we want to go back!!)

So I'm baffled. My NOA was sent to California address, returned and re-sent from Homeland security to my canada address. All of my belongings (a whole house full and piano) are in a storage unit in Illinois awaiting my landing so that I can bring them here. I don't want to do that if we can go home!! (even if it means camping indoors for 5 months!)

What should I do? Should I write a letter, stating I moved to canada temporarily, and find a joint sponsor to continue the process? Obviously I don't have a job down there anymore!! I did work half this year and made well over the poverty line in 06, and can prove with taxes, but no US job now.

It says it was mailed to the NVC on July 12. Would they have mailed an approval to my old home address? I am just wondering if it made its way to Montreal already!!

This is quite freaky, I feel it is a sign. We wanted to go back and now mysteriously we're still in the process. How long would it take to get interview in Montreal?

I got thru to NVC and they have changed my address on their end to the Canada address, they send they re-send the fee bill to me here. My Q is, do I need to contact Montreal with Canadian address too?

or changing with NVC is enough?

ps, I got a really nice guy at NVC, it was actually a pleasant conversation.
