A question regarding i-864, Employment Letter

I heard some lawyers advised to never send any original copy of anything to USCIS. Always send photocopies.

I wonder for i-864, should I send original Employment Letter or a copy of it to USCIS. Should we save the original for the GC interview?

Wonder how everyone else handles this. Thank you!

In my opinion, your lawyer is correct.

I was a dum-dum - I sent original everything with my I-134 back in the K-1 days and had to re-order the gamut for AOS. Argh.

I agree. The only originals we sent were the USCIS forms and the sealed medical examination. Other than that, everything else were copies.

I wonder for i-864, should I send original Employment Letter or a copy of it to USCIS. Should we save the original for the GC interview?

We sent a copy of the employment letter to USCIS. We're saving the original letter for the interview, if there is one.

Thanks all!

How about the sworn affidavits of true marriage? They used embossed seal. My copy machine can't print the seal at all.

Do you also send photocopy of the affidavits?
