Decided to do POE today to save time next weekend when my dad is helping us move. So got to bridge about 9 am today, got to booth and told Officer we need to activate our visas. He was very nice and told us we had to go inside and made sure I have the Do Not Open envelopes, which I had in my lap. He said be sure to take those inside, then told us to pull ahead to the officer there and he'd tell us where to park and go. Once parked we went inside, sat for maybe 15 minutes before we got called to the counter. Once at the counter the Officer asked for packages(myself and my 2 kids), told us to go back and sit down. He did some paperwork before calling us up for fingerprints and signatures(He asked if I minded him doing the kids). Then we went back and sat down for a few minutes before he called us up again and gave us our passports back stamped. Explained what to show when crossing the border and that our actual cards would be sent to the address on our paperwork. Ask about moving my stuff next weekend and he said I won't have a problem as it's our personal belonging. We were out by 10, although didn't seem like we were in there for an hour.

My wife and I are also thinking of poeing in lewiston, looks like it went very smoothly for u and the family. :star:

It was, we had no hassles at all. The Officer we had seemed to know what he was doing.

Yvonne and I would likely enter there, too; I usually stop at the Smoking Joes location on NY-31 on the way home for cheap fuel. :D

Decided to POE at Queenston-Lewiston because that's the bridge I use more often than not when I was visiting my husband. Don't care for the Rainbow bridge at all, and Peace bridge is out of the way.
