Hello everyone, well we fiiiiiiiiiiinally got our NOA2 today YIPPEEEEEE

my husband and I are doing a CR-1 (i am the petitioner and he is the beneficiary) and im not to sure what to do next. i have read thru the shortcuts and have come up with a little bit of an idea but still am a little confused on where to begin. on James shortcuts he states to start calling the NVC right away to get the case number. How long will it take for a case number to be assigned. It also states that i need 3 years worth of tax returns. can i just show the tax returns or do i have to have the w-2's also.. do i have to have 3 years or would the last 2 years be sufficient? i know i have alot of questions and i definately appreciate everyones help.

a couple more questions....

1.Does the copy of his bio page from his visa have to be certified?

2. Does my letter of employment need to be noterized?

3. Does he need to send me any of his passport photos or will he send those in with the packet

4. in Ling Che shortcuts she seperates the AOS DS-230 packate and the I-864 packat. is there seperate info that goes into each of them? is there a sheet that will tell me what goes where??

im sorry for so many questions but i have tried to make sense of this and the more i try to read the more confused i get. is there anywhere i can see a complete list of all docs needed for both him and i.

again thank you all so very much for any info you are able to provide!!

dont use james cuts use lingche's...it takes 5 to 7 days for you receive a case number some times more than that prepare yourself for 2 weeks

the most recent tax form is the one that is mandatory but up to 3 years is OPTIONAL I can let you know that is MANDATORY even that it says that is Optional..if you dont have the forms call IRS to get the transcript..

a couple more questions....

1.Does the copy of his bio page from his visa have to be certified? what??? where it says that?? please read the guides from now there is only 2 procces AOS and DS230

Here's Christeen's time tested formula for NVC:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay and wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

2. Does my letter of employment need to be noterized?

NO, you requested to Human Resource and that's it

3. Does he need to send me any of his passport photos or will he send those in with the packet He should send you everything that goes in DS230 package is better for you to send it to NVC so you can track it..

4. in Ling Che shortcuts she seperates the AOS DS-230 packate and the I-864 packat. is there seperate info that goes into each of them? is there a sheet that will tell me what goes where?? see above my answher

im sorry for so many questions but i have tried to make sense of this and the more i try to read the more confused i get. is there anywhere i can see a complete list of all docs needed for both him and i.
