Hi everyone!

I already posted something about these questions but i didn't really get the answers i needed.

Thanks in advance for taking some time to answer my questions. ^_^

1) Records of immunizations: Is my vaccination booklet enough?

2) Vaccinations: Do i need to get those done BEFORE the medical examination? Or will they give me the shots at the medical exam?

3) Police certificate: Do i need to get one from EVERY city i lived in since im 16? I've always lived in the province of Quebec, if i go to my local police station i'll be ok?

Thanks a lot!

Audrey :)

Hi Audrey,

1-2) That's what I brought to the medical, it was enough. I had to get a booster (Tetanos) and had it for free at my regular doctor...

3) Some SQ stations can provide you with a Police certificate, most do not offer this service. See: http://www.formulaire.gouv.qc.ca/cgi/affic...006&table=0

I went to a private place, cost me $25. Message me if you want the details, I'll search for the address.

Hello!

Your vaccination booklet is enough. I brought my little yellow booklet that Ontario issues you to keep track of your own immunizations and that was enough for them.

It depends on what panel physician you go to. I know from experience that Dr. Seiden in Toronto does not issue immunizations, but asks you to go have them done by your family doctor or clinic and have the information faxed to him before they will release your medical results. I've heard that the physicians in Montreal will issue vaccinations for you, but they also charge. Most vaccinations you can obtain for free from an outside source before getting your medical done, which would save you a good chunk of money.

For the police certificate, you only need to get 1 for all of Canada. Just go to your local police station and ask them to do a name search using a national repository. As long as it indicates they have searched all of Canada you're fine.
