Hmmm,

I just read that police records take 4-5 months to process. EEEK!! lol. Then I read that we can get him digital finger prints that take 72 hours. That sounds wonderful! But then I read he'd have to drive 3 hours to the nearest locations (He's in Kelowna, BC).

Well, I was wondering if he could come to Washington and get his digital finger printing while visiting me? I hope so. If not he'll just have to do it in Vancouver or something. Thanks!

Your Canadian beneficiary will need a police report for his interview in either Montreal or Vancouver. It's good for a year. He can get his police report for all of Canada, at any local or RCMP office in Canada. Make sure it says CPIC on it. He will either get it while waiting, or it could take a week or two. However, if he has a criminal record, he will need to be fingerprinted, and it is sent to Ottawa, and could take up to 120 days. So, he should perhaps get that sent away now if that's the case. He can get fingerprinted, and the process started at any RCMP office near him.
