Started my NVC journey the 21 of January and today (thank you God) my sign in failed! :dance::dance::dance:

I wrote a short time back about whether my I30 was still active after about a year of no activity on it and a denied k-3.

My husband interviewd in Dec 2008 and was given 221-g for a DNA test. We have since finished the DNA test and are awaiting a date to return to the embassy. In the meantime I started contacted the NVC and had them move forward with my I30.

Now on to my questions. I believe that my husband will get a return date to the embassy soon regarding the DNA test on the K-3 and I am praying they will meet up but how long does it usually take for NVC to send the I30 case on the embassy? Our embassy is Lagos btw.

Congrats, and Glad to see that something is moving for you... As far as moving to the consulate... Once you are scheduled for an interview, NVC will forward the file to the consulate... to see how long between complete and interview I would check with the regional forum for Nigeria...

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!
