we were married in las vegas. the marriage certificate has my family name on it when i was still single and not my married name on it... will it be ok passing it for filing of aos?

Ours had my surname on it, too. We had to change it through the SSA office. Then we put my new surname on the AOS application, so it's totally fine.

The Utah marriage license (that is signed by the officiant and witnesses and becomes the marriage certificate) specifies that the bride's name must be written and signed as her maiden name. It doesn't specify a married name anywhere. Worked fine for us. Approved in 2 months with no RFEs or interview.
