I always knew that once I moved to the states that life back in England would move on but today marked the end of an era there that began when I was six years old :crying:

Top of the Pops THE pop music show as I was growing up that I sat glued to each Thursday night for perhaps 15 or more years succumbed to the competition of the digital channels (damn Sky) and broadcast its last edition tonight with the likes apparently of Jimmy Saville, Mike Ried and Dave Lee Travis back on board. (would loved to have seen the show)

it kind of gives an odd feeling when things you took for granted back home are suddenly gone forever what would you shed a tear for if you heard it had been consigned to history back home?
