When 2 year is lifted on CR1 question

Ok folks.. My question is simple, when the 2 year condition is lifted, what all needs to be done.

On our paper work it says 3months prior to the 2 year anniversary the conditions will be lifted.

or to renew it.

Now... is it 2 years of his arrival date --- or 2 years from date on visa?

then

next question...

will we need to bring in tax documents again to show proof of income as

original filing? Or .. what? to renew it after the 2 years stated.

Happy 8 Year Anniversary My Love May 27, 2016

The two-year anniversary is the expiration date on the PR/Green Card (not the visa).

You must file to Lift/Remove Conditions in order to maintain PR Status. You can do this no sooner than 90-days prior to the PR/Green Card's expiration date (not necessarily 3 months). Follow the Lifting Conditions Guide found here on VJ for all the details you'll need (as far as what to send). Once complete, you will be issued a new PR/Green card that is valid for 10-years.
