 Oh lawd, now I know what I have to be prepared for if we ever get there! And if we ever make it to Brazil, same thing I'm sure cause that's his FAVORITE team!

:ot:

I went across the hall to use the microwave & spend the 6 minutes talking to my co-worker friend. She has some serious parent issues. This is the friend who is 40-something & still lives with them. And complains bitterly all the time about how they've done her wrong her whole life. Today she was reading an article on-line that the teen pregnancy rate (coincidental eh?) has actually gone down in California. That got us discussing the subject & I told her last week I read an article that it is going up in the rest of the country, some experts think due to sex education classes teaching only abstinence rather than birth control nowadays. This prompted her to begin a tirade about her mother only said something about the 'birds & the bees....blah blah' & that was it. She said it with her usual vitriol when it comes to discussing what her parents did or did not do to/for her when she was growing up. It is also their fault that she never went to college cause they wouldn't let her....they also would not let her dance. You name it, they've probably done or not done it. It makes me want to say, 'you have the worst parents in the world' just to agree with her so she'll finally shut up about it. But I just zip my lip, the microwave beeps cause it's done, & I leave!

Delta sent me an e-mail offer for cheap flights....one of them was from SFO (San Francisco airport) to OAK (Oakland)....only $69 one way! LOL!! Um, I can drive to Oakland in 20 minutes & it only cost $10 in gas BOTH ways & the $5 bridge toll. Thanks for nothing Delta!

ROGER just got a call from HOME DEPOT!!! he didn't tell me much cuz he was rushing, but he believes they will lay out the particulars for him today !!

he sounded kind of nonchalant tho.. we were actually about to POSSIBLY put his car on craigslist today so he can go to JA becuz his eldest called last night.. he left a vm PLEADING w/ roger to make it to his "sports day" at skool next week..

he has asked Roger to come to school SOOOO many times since roger been here.. Roger don't have the heart to tell him whats going on, so he just say "SOON" :( , he tells him daddy is far away and can't, but sooon..

he said he almost cried listening to the vm over and over again. today.. :(:(

roger wants to go and the leave the kids like $1000 which there is no way i can manage that.. so he was considering selling the car..

and look, he finally gets the call to work, after he has said he was gonna go ahead and take the trip.. isn't it ironic how things work out???

God is good :star:

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

All along I thought you were saying you can't ride on the bus because you're fat, lol. In the back of my mind I'm like "heavy ppl ride the bus too" But now I see, no taking the buis with a child can be very uncomfortable.

"Fat" is my 3 year old son's nickname the one you see on my VJ profile

dat lady need to GET OVER IT!!

I tell ya! It always makes me think, if they're so horrible, WHY DO YOU STILL LIVE WITH THEM??!?

our desks actually go up and down for those that like to stand.. i don't think i have EVER used that feature LOL!!!!

I'm not sure I would either! If they really wanted to make us healthy, they'd hook our computers up to treadmills or bikes & make us pedal to keep them going. With the time I spend on here & everywhere else I'm not supposed to, I'd be like 110 pounds!
