Planning my POE on Sunday in Blaine WA

Just curious, Im going to cross in the early evening 6pm-ish. Shouldn't have issues right? They are open 24hrs, right?

I wonder if there is any particular difference in processing service when going through the Peace Arch versus the Truck Crossing, or even Aldergrove. All three are valid entry points for me, with the first two being valid for anyone coming from Vancouver.

I figure I'll go through Peace Arch, simply because they're the biggest and most widely used of the three. Plus they're open 24/7, whereas the Aldergrove crossing is only open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Were you planning on doing Peace Arch or Truck Crossing, Biglos?

I've always used the Truck crossing, they don't seem too nice at the Peace Arch, so I'll probably go through the Truck Crossing.

I would say Pac Crossing would be better because they handle all the customs and the guards have always been a bit nicer.

Interesting! I'd just assumed Peace Arch would be the better bet, but the Truck Crossing is closer to me, and usually has less of a wait, so...

They're two separate border crossings. Simple as that. They're only five minutes or so away from one another, but they ARE different.

Peace Arch is for passenger vehicles and RVs etc. only, while the Truck Crossing / Pacific Highway is for passenger vehicles AND commercial vehicles like buses and semis. Peace Arch is at the end of Highway 99, while the Truck Crossing is at the end of Highway 15. Both junction with the I-5 on the other side.

We've only ever used Peace Arch to visit Canada and when P moved here he flew into Vancouver and we crossed there too. We posted a little review of the experience. Easy peasy for us.

Just to throw my two cents in, I am going to cross Truck crossing just because RI is importing my car through there today and i drive across Sunday.

But the US Border guard did give me some helpful tips, Cross after 8am! he says its the shift change and you dont want the midnight crew who are bored and find it suspicious [crossing for example 3am] or grouchy at end of shift

So I will be going across this Sunday, at 801 LOL and doing K1 [as my car importing will be done 3 days before hand yaya]
