O'Reilly: When you deliver your stuff are you cognizant of the fact that your audience are primarily stoned slackers who love Obama

The first night of Jon Stewart's two-part appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor" got heated when Bill O'Reilly, making a point about what he thought was unfair treatment of Fox News Channel on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," jabbed his finger dangerously close to Stewart's face; Stewart returned verbal fire by jokingly comparing O'Reilly to Muhammad Ali. The tense moment came at the midpoint of an interview that first focused on President Barack Obama's performance in his first year as President and then quickly turned into a spirited argument about the fairness of Fox News Channel......

It never occurred to me that Cohan O'Brien had a staff of over 200 writers to come up with that stuff. Here I thought he stayed up all night thinking up stuff he was going to say. Can only wonder what size staffs Bill and Jon have. It has been pointed out on Actors Guide that good stand-up comedians make the best actors, like Robin Williams or Tom Hanks. Have the amazing ability to memorize long scripts and no how to deliver.

Point is, both Bill and Jon are also actors and in a ratings race, are we just viewing an act? And for what reason, entertainment?

A person needs a point of reference, one thing I do not do is pester our government, quite the contrary, they sure pester the hell out of me telling me what I can or cannot do and how much I have to pay. So my guide is the affects this has on me and my family, not watching this entertainment on TV for news. But okay to watch it for entertainment. What we don't see are the scripts and the rehearsals for these programs. A key is when they change camera angles, to us, appears instantaneously. But gives them the opportunity to stop and discuss whether they are going to keep that very short segment or not.

With these shows and even with WPR or PBS, lots of talk, but only talk, nothing really changes. More precisely, it's all BS. Sure enough of that going around.
