FILING AOS FROM VISA WAIVER HELP!

HELP!

i need ALL information i can about filing I-485 + i 130 and work authorization.

i am filing all of this for my wife, i am in the US army, she is from korea.

i dont want to go in a huge speil, but the marrage just .. happened. and in las vegas of all places .. hah.

anyways on the i-485 it asks where the visa was issued, what date, non immigrant visa number, what if it is visa waiver?

what do i need to do? i can pretty much figure out the most of it on my own. i have all necessary stuff that it said on the guide on this site.

my wife is NOT out of status, but she will be March 18th.

i have alot of the packet finished. just waiting on a few dumb papers.

can you help me VJ users? i really need some help to be honest. i dont like to ask for things.. sorry.

please just any information is of great help.

Hi Mathew! Glad to see you here! We are currently going through the VWP as well!

To answer your questions:

In what status did you last enter? VISITOR (VWP)

Nonimmigrant Visa Number (We put the number that was 11 digits..on the green i-94 sheet) we put the . in it as it is shown on the i-94

Consulate where visa was issued: N/A

Date Visa Was Issued: We put the date he entered the US.

I'm in the same situation. My Korean girlfriend came to visit with a visa waiver and about a month and a half into the visit I decided I was ready to propose.

So far the best answers we have to the visa questions on the I-485 are:

Inspected by US IO: Yes

Non-immigrant visa number: N/A - Visa Waiver Program

Date visa was issued: N/A

In what status did you last enter: Visitor

Consulate: N/A
