I'll make it simple for the simple, other than in the case of illegal activity, you can't get rid of your elected president for incompetence or because you lack confidence in him, correct? As it stands then, you have no democratic method of working out your anger at this incompetent fool, you'll just have to wait until 2012 and hope everyone agrees with you, or at least a suffient number of people to ensure he doesn't get a second term. Poor you.

I am not the one that suggested making poaching "illegal" or licensing firearms to eliminate people running down deer with automobiles. Why would I assume that such a person asking if we had a way to recall the Prime Minister was a comparison? And take three exchanges to finally figure it out? People who are unaware of the political process in this country should refrain from commenting on it...particularly if they are ignorant and not eligible to vote. Of course there is the whole first amendment thing but it is our responsibility not to abuse our rights either.

I doubt, that by the time of the 2012 election, I will need to do much "hoping" that a majority will no longer want Obama as President.

Gary, seeing that you oppose everything Obama set out to do, and seeing that you would like as inactive a government as possible, you should be the happiest camper in light of Obama's alleged inability to do anything at all. If the options are to either do that which you oppose or do nothing, then nothing should be the obvious choice, yes? Per your comments, Obama is doing nothing. Be happy about that and your blood pressure will be back to normal levels soon. Another few rants on your part and I'm afraid you may bust a valve or two.

Doubtful, within the next 3 year, the economy will recover to the point where it wont be such a large issue on everyone's mind. Obama will be credited with it, even if he really doesn't do much directly to turn it around and he will win in a landslide (Even bigger one if Republicans manage to somehow nominate Palin).

The electorate has a short memory and what will matter most is how the economy is in 2012, and not what has happened in the years leading up to 2012.
