My Brazilian fiancee went to the consulate in Rio last week for our K1 fiancee interview and there was some paperwork that had not been translated so they issued her a new interview date the first week in February.

She made the trip to coincide with her vacation home to visit her family as we live and work in Cancun, Mexico. It is unfeasible for her to return to Rio for another interview.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with requesting a change of venue for the fiancee interview (i.e. Ciudad Juarez)? What is the process of requesting and how long would it take to get a new interview date?

Thanks
