My ex is in Canada and I have to wait 2 years unless she doesn't contest. She is insisting (and so are the canadian courts) that I pay for her 2 children from a previous marriage even though she gets money for them from their father (her other ex)

I really don't understand how they can allow her to get paid twice for the same children but thats seems to be the law over there, and I simply can't afford to pay for 3 children.

If I could I would just to get the divorce through quicker......

Looks like i'll just have to wait :(

Wow! And I thought socialized medicine was the worst thing about Canada. If your ex keeps remarrying...her kids will have college paid for. (Sorry :unsure: )
