The same way it currently works in the same situatons. People on bikes take the risk of using the public highways the same as everyone else but at least creating awareness that there are other road users aside from motorized vehicles increases safety for all which is a good thing.

yea ... and if a motorist hits a bike .. and it's the motorists fault ... well lets just say the cyclist will have lots and lots of bills paid even after recovery (or the next of kin will be very well off). quite the sobering fact motorists ... get the message?
