Any one have anything to add about the hotels around the consulate?

I see one Shalimar and one Kemp's Corner. Any reviews/comments?

My interview is on the 12th in Mumbai and I'm planning to fly out on the 17th out of Calcutta to Chicago. If there are no problems, the visa should be issued by then, right?

05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.
03/01/2012: ROC NOA1.
03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

09/25/2013: N-400 NOA1

10/16/2013: Biometrics completed

12/03/2013: Interview

12/20/2013: Oath ceremony

I almost forgot, they took her DS230 part 1, and they wanted passport pics. When my wife submitted her passport pic, they claimed it was photoshopped. That was a complete lie since she had those pics done beforehand by a photographer and printed out there. Of course VFS, like the crooks they are, will do passport pictures for 200 rupees and submit those. My wife had no choice but to just get it done.

03.15.10: AOS & DS230 packages sent to NVC

03.17.10: AOS & DS230 packages delivered @ 11:05am

03.22.10: Packages received according to AVR

03.30.10: RFE per AVR - J1 Visa Waiver

03.31.10: Overnighted the waiver to NVC

04.01.10: RFE delivered @ 9:14am signed by J. Desmond

04.05.10: I SIF!!!!!!!! GOD IS GOOD & FULL OF MIRACLES!!!!!

04.06.10: Case Completed per AVR

05.25.10: Hubby's interview @ 7:30am. Thank you LORD!!!!

05.25.10: Visa approved & picket up @ VFS - THANK YOU GOD!

05.27.10: Hubby's home sweet home
