I think AOS applicant would be the appropriate choice here. You've applied for your AOS, so your K1 is no longer valid.

Remember to follow up a call to customer service to update your address for your pending cases.

On my AR-11 I put Adjustment pending.... make sure you also send a copy of your AR-11 with a cover letter to your old local office and your new local office..... as the AR-11 will not update your address on pending cases.... also your sponsor will need to file I-865 if they are moving too...

I hope you have better luck than I did informing them of your change of address! I lost count of the number of times I filled out that form and mailed it in and how many times I called to inform them of my new address, but still they sent all my mail to my old address. And yes I did fill it in right and mail it to the right place. I don't know what was going wrong! Luckily for me, our old address was at my husband's cousin's house, so they called us every time they received something. Otherwise we wouldn't have known about our interview date etc.

Maybe I'm the only person who had this problem, but my thoughts to you, if you don't have friends or family still at your old address, is to have all mail forwarded from your old address or go back and check that no mail has been sent there for you.

Good luck with your AOS.

its very common for addresses to not get updated whenever we send in the forms. Its up to us to phone them to ensure it gets done, about 2 weeks after you send the forms.

For a K1 changing address just put "K1 - AOS pending", send the AR-11 to Kentucky as instructed, and also send a photocopy with cover letter to your district office, as well as whereever your AOS applications are at the moment.

Your spouse also needs to complete form I-865 at the same time, and I think that just goes to teh district office and whereever the application has been sent.
