Anyone with K-1 visas have any experience going through the POE into the USA? If so, what was it like? Has anyone with K-1 visas ever been hasselled by immigration officers or even sent back to their country? I'm just wondering because I've never read anything like that on the POE reviews on this site.

P O E = port of entry, international airport

Just a helping hand (hahahaha)

No hassels but it's a long line and some questions. I most cases a K-1 or k-3 has little or no problems.

UNLESS the person has OPENED the ENVELOPE that says " DO NOT OPEN " then there is no pass and can be set back to country of origin.

I have heard of that one and only that one.

Hope this helps

My POE was LAX. I arrived at almost 10 p.m. and there was no problem. The immigration officers were friendly and they worked fast. There was no queue. When I handed over the sealed envelope, the IO just asked me who I would be marrying and where I'd be staying.

it doesnt matter whether you're a k1, k3 or cr1 as long as you dont open the "brown envelope" from embassy, and you follow the instructions that given to you at your POE, you'll be ok.
