Trying to search on this topic seems to return almost every thread on the forum, heheh.

I see there's a sample letter for requesting extension, but no additional information.

We need to reschedule the interview a couple weeks or more after our NOA2 expiration date. Will this require sending a letter like that sample?

The sample says "notarized signature"... Does it have to be notarized? Does it require US notarization? I'm in the Philippines, but not near Cebu or Manila, so getting consular notarization is not easy, unless I can get some kind of local notarization that would work?
