Documents to be filed for the waiver

I will be filling the waiver for joint i751 in the next 2-3 months and am in the process of collecting documents for it.

I have some mails that were sent to both of us but i only have 2 or 3 of them that are dated in the last 3,4 months. We were married for about 15 months and i dont have any mails from earlier. Would that matter?

Also, in terms of sending documentation, how much is too much? I have tons of emails and chats with her. Should i be sending all of those?

I sent about an inch thick file.

I do not think you should send ALL your chats (why do you chat with your spouse instead of talking to them, anyway?), but send some chats/e-mails, the ones that show that you have a relationship.

You should really read the topic pinned above ROC forum (by Gary and Alla) about the type of evidence USCIS is looking for.

Would really appreciate someone's (who has already filed) advise

Thanks a lot for your response. I am going to try and keep it around that.

I agree with rika, but understand its more of the quality than quantity they are looking for. The quality proof should come from the time your got your conditional green card. That said strong financial assets on joint names is strong evidence.

They like to see thick file with quality evidence. Refer to the gary post.
