Applying for AOS before I-94 expires

Hi again my friends. I just have this question for now before we fill the papers and send them. I hope all of you are doing well and many blessings for all of you in this new year.

How long before the I-94 expires should we send the documents for AOS or get the NOA for them?

Sorry for not coming in before but my PC was DOA since a long time ago and I can't use the one in my office for personal matters.

January 21, 2010 - Submitted AOS

January 25, 2010 - Cory received her SSN

March 9, 2010 - Received appointment for biometrics - will be on March 18

March 18, 2010 - Biometrics done

March 19, 2010 - Touches on I-485 and I-765

March 25, 2010 - Advance Parole approved..received on April 1 in the mail

March 29, 2010 - I-485 notice date, received on April 4, 2010

May 3, 2010 - EAD approved

May 5, 2010 - Date interview....approved

Ideally, you should file for AOS as soon as possible after the marriage. The specific timeframe doesn't really matter, though. You can even file up to couple of months after the I-94 expires with no real problems, though you really SHOULD get it in as soon as possible, to avoid any problems with law enforcement noticing that you're out of status, or anything like that. But anytime before the I-94 expires is just fine.
