How long after 221g?

happy holidays VJ family! I have a question,my husband got his interview on dec 10th at the embassy in london and they needed my decree from my first marriage which i mailed nd he recieved it on 22nd.due to the holiday s he was told a courrier would pick the documents today along with his passport which they did this afternoon.So the question is what now?does anyone know someone in our situation who has had to wait for 221g?He was denied but he was asked to pay money for the visa when he went for his interview.do we have any hope?Its the not knowing how long we wait afterwards or what to do.Thanks in advance.

Sounds like they couldn't give the visa till they had your decree - now they do...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
