New year's eve recipes

Hi Guys can you give me some recipe for new years eve? This is my first new year here in US and I want to cook food something special. Thanks in advance.....

What do you plan to cook? I am planning to prepare some pinoy dish like lumpia and pancit for new years eve and hubby will make the ribs slow cook in barbeque sauce. My husband doesn't really know about noche buena but I will try to continue our tradition in the Philippines here in my new home. Even if it's just going to be me and hubby...I will make sure we will make enough noise on new years eve to scare away all the "malas" bad stuff/vibrations in the house hahahahah. Hoping no cops will be knocking at the door when we do that that will be a big "malas"!

I'm also visiting that website every now and then. I've tried it's version of beef mechado on the 1st visit of my hubby's family here at home, they loved it so much that they asked for the recipe. I've also made it's version of leche flan for my in-laws and my hubby's friends, it was a hit!!! I'll try the pininyahang manok today.
