What's with IRS form 5695?

IRS is showing a preliminary draft version of this form when you do a search for energy credits, but the completed form in their form site is from last year. Can only get an energy tax credit for something like a fuel cell. Are they going to update this form?

See they also added a 1040 schedule L for an extended standard deduction for where your state is robbing you blind as a slightly extra deduction.

Yep. Two more schedules to add to the dozen or so I already file. One for the property tax deduction on top of the standard deduction, and another schedule, for "Making Work Pay".

It is almost getting complicated, but I will still try to do it on my own again. A good spreadsheet program helps.

Just previewing the forms, if you are below the poverty level can get a couple of bucks back if not a lot of bucks. But if you are just a tad above it, expect to get nailed to the wall and even end up well below the poverty level.

Also seems like the same people that write up the immigration forms are now writing up the IRS forms.
