Ok so now that we got approved I called the NVC and they said the only information they have is that's its undergoing additional review. Anyone know what that means? Also I have read in other posts about packages 3 and 3. What are they and what do they consist of? Also, more than likely my future hubby's interview will be at the US Embassy in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, how long did any of you have to wait??

Thanks for all of your replies and if you have anymore advice or help I would really appreciate it.

THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!

Packet 3 basically tell you what kind of forms you need to prepare & Packet 4 basically tell you where to do medical check up and interview date. don't forget to prepare police certificate before you receive NOA2. Some country took sometimes to prepare like my case. My police certificate ready 3 days before my interview.

Also be aware that not all embassies call them package 3 & 4.

What exactly they contain & tell you to do varies by embassy.

In Jamaica, the p3 says to send in your DS-230pt1 to have an interview scheduled. Meanwhile, it says, gather the other documents.

P4 in Jamaica contains the interview letter.

Also, you may want to go to the regional thread & ask others if there are any tips/shortcuts regarding those two packages.

Thanks guys for your quick reply! I really appreciate it. According to the other forums that I've read in Mexico it says that you don't need the police certificates, but I think that we're going to play it safe anyway. We don't want to have to wait another year like we have done so far.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE AND THANKS AGAIN!!!
