On the 221g after listing the two documents we need, it also states do not submit passport. This has gotten me a bit concered. Does this mean he will get another interview, or once he submit his documents they will call him to submit his passport? Anyone out there who got a 221g and were successful in submitting the required documents and got approved for the visa. Anyone familliar with Mumbai Embassy and how they process 221g's? It states that we have one year to submit the documents, but I am submitting the letter to get my petition extended anyways. The document they want will be submitted in 1 week or so, but just completely stressed about this 221. Anyone familar with 221g's and had successful approvals?

Thank you Sara :). I hope we can both come out of this dark whole called AP. It would have been nice if they told him. DOS mentioned something about AP when I called them about our case. I will be getting my religious divorce decree by this weekend. That will be a sign of relief. I feel better now about this whole thing. You are right its going to be ok. I am here with you waiting as well, and you and Perviz are always in my prayers. It will make me happy to see you come out of this VERY soon as well. Yes, you are right it seems to be so common with muslim male beneficiaries. I don't think they are as hard on the female beneficiaries.

On another note they did accept the evidence. But, they took all my emails and phone records, and did not take the notarized documents. Now they want additional. So, he is going to be submitting all the documents that they did not take and additional pictures, including additional emails from our recent communication.
