Can anyone give me any advice , My fiance sent in the forms by registered post to Nebraska, theres signed confirmation they've recieved it on the 05-29-06, then after that theres nothing. The check has not been cashed , we've recieved no notification of teh transfer of forms to CSC like I've rad other people have, we have no way of tracking those forms and CSC are stating they're unable to confirm reciept of arrival at their ened and that we just have to wait to the NOA1 forms are sent out.

I've noticed other people who's had nebraska recieved theirs a few days before ours have recieved that vital first step so my mind is thinking up all sort of nasties by thinking the forms have een misplaced and lost :crying:

It happens. They have a lot of time to send out notices to you, and there are other cases of people still waiting for their checks to be cashed. Don't worry too much.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Patience, is what we always hear, but sometimes it's hard to be patient. I too sent my paperwork to Nebraska, then started reading this web site and others and realized that my paperwork was probably going to be transferred to California. Sure enough, I kept checking then I noticed the check had been cashed by the California Service Center on a Friday and on Monday I received the NOA in the mail from California. I never received a letter stating the file was being transferred. There's no doubt that we are all going to be processed by the California Service Center, we just don't know when or how long it will take.

Exactly! Unfortunately, CSC is not the best service center when it comes to keeping their systems updated. So not getting notices through e-mail happens all the time. I guess the CSC is not the best service center when it comes to processing stuff fast either. So... I understand it's hard to be patient (believe me), but I guess we just have to be, or else we just might lose it.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Wow, you are patient indeed! If you say the NSC received it on 5/29, it's been almost 2 months then. Why don't you try calling the 1-800 number or writing the NSC about this? You don't know if they really have it or it may have been lost.

I have a similar problem, which has been almost six months now. The district office cashed the check, and forwarded my application to CSC, and neither of them sent me any paperwork on my application. Now, the CSC is telling me they don't have my application with them and that I should resubmit it with the original application. What the heck right? They should have told me this from the first time I made my inquiry, but at least now we have a word from them and we know what to do.

Good luck to your application!
