Cost of interview at Warsaw embassy?

Hi,

My wife just received notice of her final interview at the embassy in Warsaw for next month. She advised me there is a cost of $760 for her and daughter. Both will immigrate at the same time. I was not aware there is a cost associated with this interview and would like to confirm she received correct information, or possibly has misunderstood.

Also, would her daughter be required to accompany her to this interview? Would the daughter be interviewed as well?

Just for information, we applied for their visas at the US embassy in Vilnius at the end of December and then mailed the package of papers to Warsaw. It took only 2 months from the reception of the application at Warsaw to the actual interview date. This seems quite fast. It may have helped that she visited the US for one month last summer.

She received the correct information. There is an immigrant visa fee of $380 per visa. Your wife is applying for 2 visas, one for herself and one for her daughter. If the daughter is over 16 years old, she might be interviewed before she is issued a visa.
