I hated going through this for like 18 months for the I-130 so now I get paranoid... Sorry, I just wanted to share my happy news that they cashed the check lol

Hehe, all good ;-) Remember to gather patience, probably won't be as bad as your initial card: will probably get your card within 4 months or so ;-)

I hear you on the waiting, it is not so much the passage of time that gets me it is the feeling of helplessness and not being able to do anything about it.

I am really happy for you and hope the rest of your process goes smoothly. If they cashed your check you should be getting your NOA1 soon!!!!!

this is how crazy I am, on top of the check they cashed they put the EAC number and tried to check the status but it doesn't work on their website

ok, people that have been waiting for a long time are gonna kill me lol

EAC number is also on my check, I could not work out the letters very well, looked like ROC followed by numbers, service center and date.

You cannot check your status online using the application number that was written on the check you sent or on the noa1 that you will receive.

You will have to wait to receive your biometrics appointment letter before you can check your status online as that will have a different application number - hope this helps.

YAY NOA1 arrived today dated 12/07/2009 also my check was cashed today. One more step down the line now the wait to biometrics!!! Good luck to every one with the process.
